This is a collaboration between my girlfriend and I
She did the design (sketch) She also painted a lot of the sky, mountains and trees. I helped and did a lot of the grass, leaves and touch ups to the painting to give it my feel, my style. I really am happy and proud of the work we did and hope you like it too.
I tried to get the colors and quality to look like the original, but that is the problem with cameras and lighting, can't get it to look perfect. The original is more yellow and brighter, a warmer feeling to it and I hope that this image still gives a feeling of warmth

Beautiful illustration! I would have perhaps chosen the trees to have been different colors representing the dualities guarding the gate.
